Location
Azaan Alert requests access to your device's GPS coordinates solely to calculate accurate Islamic prayer times for your current position. Your coordinates are also used to determine your country so the app can automatically select the regionally appropriate prayer time calculation method.
Location is processed entirely on-device using the Android Geocoder and the Adhan library. It is never transmitted to any server, never stored in the cloud, and never shared with any third party.
Preferences & Settings
Your preferences — including calculation method, madhab selection, per-prayer enable/disable toggles, and notification settings — are stored locally on your device using Android DataStore. This data never leaves your device.

- Advertising identifiers or tracking data
- Account credentials — no registration is required
- Contacts, messages, camera, or microphone data
- Any data unrelated to prayer time calculation

No permission is used for any purpose beyond what is listed above.
🔊 Audio
The Azan audio played by this app is bundled within the app itself. No audio is streamed from the internet. The app does not record or access your microphone at any time.

Azaan Alert does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
📝 Changes to This Policy
