Privacy Policy

AI Animal Voice ("the app", "we", "us") is a free, toddler-friendly Android app that lets children tap animals to hear AI-generated animal sounds. We designed the app with children's privacy in mind. This policy explains what limited data we handle and why.

1. Information we collect

The app does not ask for or collect any personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or microphone recordings. We do not require you to create an account.

We do collect a small amount of anonymous, non-personal information to keep the app working and improve it:

• Usage analytics — via Google Firebase Analytics. We record events such as which animal was tapped, so we can understand which sounds children enjoy most and prioritize new content. These events are aggregated and not tied to any real-world identity.
• Basic device information automatically provided by Firebase (device model, OS version, app version, country-level region, and a randomly generated app instance ID).
• Crash and performance diagnostics when the app misbehaves, so we can fix bugs.

2. Sound generation service

When you tap an animal, the app requests an audio file from our server API. The request contains only the animal identifier (e.g. dog) and a version tag used for caching. Once downloaded, sound files are cached on your device and reused offline until we release updated content.

3. Advertising

The app displays a banner advertisement from Google AdMob. AdMob may use a device advertising identifier to serve ads. We do not sell or share this data with anyone else. Ads shown to users we suspect may be children are configured as non-personalized.

4. Permissions the app uses

• Internet & network state — to download animal sounds and load ads.
• The app does not access your microphone, camera, contacts, location, storage, or any other personal data.

5. Children's privacy

AI Animal Voice is directed at children under 13 (COPPA) and under 16 (GDPR-K). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Analytics events are limited to anonymous app-usage signals and are configured to comply with the Google Play Designed for Families program requirements.

6. Data retention

Cached sound files live only on your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing the app's storage from Android Settings. Firebase Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months per Google's default policy.

7. Your choices

• You can uninstall the app at any time. Uninstalling removes all locally cached content.
• You can opt out of personalized ads from your Android device's Settings → Google → Ads.

8. Third-party services we use

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The revision date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
